MOPHEADS

Mopheads can be blue, purple, pink, or white. Sometimes many colors appear on the same shrub. Blue hydrangeas are the norm on Cape Cod. One variety, on the right, is this one called 'Alpengluhen,' also known as 'Glowing Embers.'

Left, blue and pink flowers appeared simultaneously on this 'Endless Summer' shrub. Right, blue mopheads.
